About Product
The easy to use Cuisinart Ice Cream deluxe allows you to make ice cream, frozen yoghurt, sorbets and frozen drinks. Simply place the detachable 2 litre freezer bowl into your freezer the night before using it and the next day you can have a healthy and versatile dessert in just 20 to 30 minutes. Fully automatic, simply fill the bowl with your desired mixture and press on - no churning by hand. The open lid allows ingredients to be added while in motion, such as fresh fruit or chocolate chips. The Cuisinart Ice cream Deluxe is also very easy to clean as the freezer bowl, mixing arm and lid are all detachable. Please Note: All electrical products sold by cookinstyle (InStyle Products Limited) are supplied with a UK 3 pin plug.
Customer Reviews
Cuisinart Ice cream maker Sent on 22 August 2010Wonderful ice cream! It works really well at incorporating air into the mix to make very good ice cream. The beater is substantial and as it remains stationary because the drum rotates, it will last a long time. It is a little noisy but not intrusively so.
well priced and easy to use. Sent on 15 August 2010I have previously tried a cheaper maker, but there was so much pfaffing around that I gave up. This little darling is very well priced, and extremely easy to use. I have used it with Ben and Jerrys Ice Cream & Desert book which has simple and delicious recipes, which in conjuntion with this machine make for dreamy ice-cream. I confirm points made by other reviwers - you need lots of space in your freezer for the bowl - (chest freezers are best), and the ice-cream is initially too soft for immediate consumption. The best results come from a further 24 hours in the freezer - giving a lovely, soft and smooth consistency. The machine is noisy during operation, but you only need to run it for 20 to 30 minutes - and I stick it in the porch when it is running! If you do this too, get a manual timer to remind you it is running and it needs to be switched off!
I highly recommend this machine.
Does what it says on the box - almost! Sent on 09 August 2010Nice design, easy to clean, very bulky and very noisy. Don't try to use recepie quantities for more than 1.5L - the 2L bowl is very tempting, but the result is runnier than Mr Whippy - putting it in the freezer and you end up with w brick ;o) Every ingredient needs to be chilled to the max or 30 minutes churning won't make the mix go firm. Forget about the booze - why do you think there is alcohol in wind screen de-icer? The bowl is almost defrosted again after 30 mins. A bit more insulation (sound and temperature) would be good. For the same money you can buy 3 Philips' or Kenwoods with the same result in ice cream making!
I wholeheartedly recommend the Cuisinart ICE30 ice cream maker Sent on 27 July 2010Thrilled to bits with this ice cream maker. I was worried about spending what seemed rather a lot of money but it's been worth every penny.
It's easy to use, easy to clean, the recipes are great
I did learn rather quickly not to overfill - but easily remedied with a spoon which was also a tasting opportunity! This was one of the largest capacity models so I'm rather relieved that it's the one I bought as the other ones would have needed two sessions to make the quantities I do.
Easy to use which is what we all want!! Sent on 22 July 2010Value for money so easy to use,and so quick, have had other makes in the past but find this one the best by far according to your budget.
